# Whitelist

Route: `/whitelist`
Sidebar group: Players
Permission: `whitelist.view` (manage needs `whitelist.manage`)

## What it does

If whitelist mode is on, only listed players can join your server. Manage that list from here.

## What you see

* **Whitelist toggle**, master on/off switch for the whole server.
* **Whitelist entries** with identifier, note, added by, added at.
* **Search**, by name or identifier.

## Common actions

* **Toggle whitelist**, server-wide on/off. Requires `whitelist.manage`.
* **Add player**, paste any identifier (license, Discord, Steam). Requires `whitelist.manage`.
* **Remove player**, kicks them off the list. Requires `whitelist.manage`.
* **Add note**, free-text reason (e.g. "approved in #applications").

## Notes

When whitelist mode is on, non-whitelisted players see a custom rejection message on connect. Customize the rejection card from the Whitelist page in the dashboard.
